Morgan Baldinelli (she/they) is a ceramicist currently residing in Madison, WI. They graduated with a BFA in ceramics from Georgia Southern University. Currently, they are pursuing an MFA at the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
Baldinelli focuses on themes of control, identity, and relationships. Their work explores and captures their struggles with their health, family, and inner monologue. An emphasis on movement, textures, and undulating forms come together to form sculptural works that capture moments of tension- the precarious balance of the self and the world. Baldinelli uses their life experiences, need for experimentation, and illusion to analyze their desire for control.
